Hold the frame at opposite sides where the side flaps join onto the shadecover. Make sure that the Pepeny pouch is facing you (i.e. you can read the Pepeny logo!).
Animated Folding Instructions
Step 2
Bring your hands together, one hand over the other, overlapping the frame. Keeping the Pepeny pouch in view, form a circle with the frame. (At this stage you will have the frame in a circle with the two ends of the frame protruding). Transfer the frame held in your right hand to hold BOTH in your left hand. (If you are left handed then transfer the frame held in your left hand into your right hand).
Hold the frame in place with one hand so that there is a good circle with extensions of the frame at either side of the TOP of the circle.
Step 3
With your free hand grasp the frame where the Pepeny pouch is and pull the circle into more of an oval shape
Step 4
Twist the circle/oval into a figure 8 (i.e. twist one hand towards you and the other away from you….voila…a figure of eight !)
Step 5
Now bring your hands together, forming two uniform coils/circles (with the frame ends protruding at the top of the double circle), with the Pepeny pouch still in view. Transfer the frame held in your right hand to hold BOTH in your left hand. (If you are left handed then transfer the frame held in your left hand into your right hand). Hold the double circle in place with one hand and do not let go !
We do stress this, as the frame is under tension. If you let go of the frame at this point the Pepeny could spring open. Until you can pack the Pepeny and unpack it with confidence, please be very careful!
Step 6
Insert your free hand into the Pepeny pouch and grasp the coiled frame that you are holding in your other hand. When you are holding the frame firmly from WITHIN the Pepeny pouch then you let go with your other hand. Still holding the double circles of the frame from inside the pouch, use your free hand to turn the pouch inside out and pull it down over the coils/circles.
Step 7
The pouch will now hold all the coils in place. Tuck the rest of the Pepeny into the pouch.
Step 8
When the Pepeny is fully packed into the pouch, fold the pouch flap over (similar to a pillowslip flap).
The conveniently stowed Pepeny can now be popped into your bag!
Folding Instructions for Extra Large Pepeny with Storage Bag
